Women from all walks of life came to celebrate this wonderful occasion with us. Pastors’ wives, members from different evangelical churches in Senegal, Catholics friends in the neighborhood, Muslim women, diplomats from the American, Nigerian, and Congolese Embassy were also present. They all heard the Word of God and were blessed. The speaker preached on the life of Deborah, and how she made herself available and God used her for His glory. God is respects people and women are as useful to Him as men (GAL 3:28). She emphasized on the power of prayer and challenged women to rise up in prayer. To be women of integrity, women that will build their homes and not destroy it with their own hands – virtuous women. Many women stood up to be prayed for. Learn about how D.O.N.E. Mrs. Cecile Diedhou Shares Testimony

My first two children are girls, and I was believing in God for a boy child after my second girl, but it seemed impossible to get pregnant. For eight years I tried, I went to see the Doctor thinking that something was wrong with me but the Doctor said that, absolutely nothing was wrong with me. It happen that the women department of the church declared a three days fast and prayer at the church. This was my prayer request to them that God would breathe life in my womb, and He did. After the three days fast and prayer, I had a dream. One of the Pastors in the church handed a baby boy to me to take care of. The next day I knew that God had answered my prayer. After few months I got pregnant, and God blessed me with a baby boy. His name is Victor Diedhou. God hears and answers the prayers of the patient and delivers them out of their troubles (JDG 4:3) THERE IS POWER IN PRAYER.

Testimony of Healing at Mbad Village

My husband and I are assigned to the Mbad church which has about five hundred inhabitants. Over thirty children from the surrounding villages come every Sunday to church. Very few adults come to church. By the Grace of God, the children are now bringing their parents to church. There was a little boy whose mother had been suffering from leg pain for over a year. She couldn’t walk long distance, because of this handicap she couldn’t afford to work and feed her children. She is the sole provider for her family. She went from witch doctor to witch doctors to find healing but to no avail. She had charms around her leg. Her son told her about the church; therefore, she decided to come. We introduced her to Jesus Christ. She decided to follow Jesus. She removed the charms, and she came for three days prayer. On the fourth day she met me at the well and told me that she’s well now she can walk in the market and on the farm because Jesus had healed her. This Testimony from this woman had brought other women in the village to believe in Jesus and, come to church.

Children’s Dance Group

The children of the church organized themselves and form a dance group by the name “BORN AGAIN”. This was their first performance. According to the President of this group, he said dance is for the children of God and not for the World. We are going to take back what the devil have stolen from us. We will bless the Lord with our dance and all that is within us bless the Holy name of the Jesus Christ.

Mbad Village Chief Saar

The people of Mbad now have a church and a well. Their prayers have been finally answered. On May 16, 2005 the well and the church were formerly dedicated and opened.

Many of you have prayed and given to establish a church and clear, deep water well for the 9 villages of Mbad, located about two hours out of Dakar. Last year when we visited Mbad the church and well were half finished. We returned and sent out a newsletter to you and you responded.

The people of Mbad now have a church and a well. Their prayers have been finally answered. On May 16, 2005 the well and the church were formerly dedicated and opened.

Villagers including Muslims, animist, some of whom have never heard the Gospel before or were made to believe that Christians were different creatures came to witness this all historic program for the people of Mbad. Some villagers walked for hours over night to attend this program due the lack of transport and their inability to afford transportation cost.

The villagers who had converged on the church premises and had been waiting for 6 to 7 hours for the commencement of the program were fed lunch. while the musical team from Dakar entertained the congregation to good gospel music song in the villagers language.

The message was preached by Pastor Diatta a son of the Serere tribe. Making a remark, Chief Saar thanked the DONE Board and the ministry for what the Lord is accomplishing through the ministry for him and the people of his village. Speaking through an interpreter and from the pulpit for the first time, pointed to Evelyn and said in these word, “ I now present to you the keys to my village, Let the will of your God for my people prevail through out our land.” He was supported with a aloud applause from the villagers and his council men. We give God the glory for the work that He has started.

Pastor Jean Ajake and Family have been relocated to Mbad. He is currently living and working among villagers. The people of Mbad did not only have a church but a well from which they can Ajake and Family relocated to Mbad now receive fresh and safe drinking water. The amazing thing about the well is that the people of Mbad have began to grow their own vegetable as soon as they got the well.
