Liberia Heavy Rainfall Converts and Baptisms

Heavy rainfall has been a hindrance for progress to outreached villages and towns of our target groups. Homes and agricultural activities were affected in G and S towns. But God is still doing new and great things. G Town cell group has 2 new converts and 13 people were baptized. B Town cell group has 20 new converts and 23 persons baptized. Our newest cell group in K Village has 38 persons. This village is surrounded by number of villages and is one of our fastest growing cell groups. Although there are more than x thousand children between 11 and 16 years, there are no schools or clinics and they also lack hand pump and toilet facilities. Be in prayer as we minister and teach in these villages.

All names and towns are changed or abbreviated because of security concerns in this region.

2 Months 2 Cell Group Churches

Joel has vowed to remain a Christian and to tell relatives, friends and everyone she meets about the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, despite family rejection and declaring her an infidel, a frustrated lady and one who does not have hope.
Joel says despite of all the ill threat and persecution from relatives, she still loves them. According to her, they are her family and nothing will ever change it.

Immediately after she was baptized, Joel fled the city for the village (name withheld) because of continuous harassment and pressure from family members and friends. From the village, Joel now reports that the Lord is working through her to His glory and many are getting to be saved through her testimony. At her request the ministry has send Evangelist Testimony Weah to assist her in what we believe the Lord is about to do through her. With in a period of two month, two cells groups have been established.
Joelle was baptized on Saturday June 30, 2007, by Rev. Thomas Browne after she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She is the only member of her family who is a Christian. Contrary to the family pronouncement that she is frustrated, Joelle is normal, well and very intelligent.

Revival Ministry Seminar

Dakar, Senegal A three man team lead by Pastor Bert arrived in Dakar as guest of the Ministry, from the 17^th thru the 28^th of May. Other member of the team included Anthony Heald and Rev. Paul. During their stay in Dakar a week long seminar was held for leader and church workers of the ministry. The seminar ran from 10:00am to 5:15pm daily.

The week long seminar and revival services brought together over 150 participants from a cross session of Bible Believing Churches in Dakar and its surroundings.During the revival services many were blessed. 19 persons confessed receiving instant healing from several body pain, while 7 received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 9 Muslims and 2 animist accepted Jesus Christ as Lord in their lives.

17 Families Join Church

July 13, 2006 Monrovia, Liberia

The church in Liberia continues to grow with 17 new families (average 5 family members) in the past three months. Pastor Sawyer reports of working signs and miracles including deliverance and reconciliation of families. In my family, we continually trust God as our source of strength; who apart from there is nothing we can do.

On the 25th of June, Jacqueline, my wife and I baptized nineteen converts as the family of the first four men of peace. The training of the first four men of peace and their families continues (learn about the man of peace here) and they’re being actively discipled in leadership positions.

The average attendance of Sunday service is sixty-one adults while children forty-nine. We used for the month of DONE the Theme “Believer’s Covenant”. This theme had made significance impact in the lives of the congregation as each one of them made a covenant with the Lord and broke every illegal Blood covenant with the devil.
The church continues to under take its self initiative local materials building. We moved there and had the fist DIVINE worship service there on the 11th of June. The floor is 95% completed and the external plastering is nearly at completion. The children, women, music and prayer departments are vibrant.
The campaign for soul winning continues as we adopt the STRATEGY 101, method is most efficient as the church received visitors every Sunday.”
