Important Lessons Learned in Guinea
After several exchange of emails and telephone conversation between Dakar and the church leadership in Conakry giving reasons why Pastor Mara had to disguise himself as a bus conductor, tension in the village and the church has calmed down. They were made to further under that Pastor Mara action was more of a strategy than him trying to look for a job and not only was Dakar aware, but Dakar had approve the strategy as the new method for planting or starting a new church. It was also agreed that the leadership will visit Conakry soon to explain the process and to apologize to the congregation for what ever manner they might have been offended by the action of Pastor Mara in implementing the CPM.
Pastor Mara has returned to his village and is now reunited with his family. He was escorted by his Muslim man of peace who hired him as the bus conductor. The lady who recognized Pastor Mara and started all this trouble has apologized to him and the church for all the problems and embarrassment she caused the church, especially Pastor Mara, whom she call of sorts of names. She prayed that Pastor Mara and his family will find it in their hearts to forgive her.
